A Wizard of Oz Christmas
Performed November 26th - 27th & December 3rd - 4th, 2005
OCTAGON HOUSE MUSEUM
The show, an original production written by the director, W.F. Jannke III, concerns itself with a return visit to the marvelous land of Oz by Dorothy Gale. She has been enjoying herself, but now, as it gets nearer to Christmas, she is feeling homesick. Telling her friends, the Scarecrow and Tin Man, about the holiday, they decided to bring her a little bit of Christmas. They set out on a journey that leads them to first the royal librarian and then the mysterious Witch of the Woods and her minions, Bark and Twig. Does this story have a happy ending? Remember, this is the land of Oz! The show is sure to delight children of all ages and anyone who enjoys the famous Oz books written by L. Frank Baum.
