This is an original play penned by W.F. Jannke III. It is an old fashioned story of good triumphing over evil. In this case, an evil witch named Hazel was missed by Santa Claus in his annual trip and she decideds to ruin him. She sets her sights on two rag dolls and infects the boy doll with an evil potion that turns anyone who touches him instantly evil. The girl doll sets out to try to stop the boy from spreading hate and drear to the entire world and in the process gets injured in a battle of magic between the boy and the Queen of the Fairies. She catches up with him finally in Santa's magic castle, and just when all seems lost something happens to save the day. Told entirely in rhyme by narrators, the actors portraying the various characters will pantomime the actions as they are read. "This play will give a brief respite from the hurly-burly of the holidays," said the author. "For 20 minutes audiences can enjoy being read to, like when they were children."
