The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

The show is based on the famous book by Mark Twain. It tells the story of a young rascal named Tom Sawyer, who lived in Hannibal , MO, in the 1840s. He lives with his Aunt Polly and Cousin Sid. Tom tries everyway he knows to get out of doing chores, including tricking
the entire neighborhood of boys to whitewash his aunt’s fence. His best pal is Huckleberry Finn, and his true love is the pretty Becky Thatcher. Audiences will be treated to the two boys antics and pranks, their bravery against Injun Joe, and thrill as they are lost in a cave while searching for treasure.

The play will be performed at Christ United Methodist Church, 112 Hall St., in Watertown. There will be evening performances on January 29th and 30th and a matinee on January 31st. There will also be 2 childrens matinees on January 29th.
