“You Can’t Take It With You” is a romantic comedy/farce that tells the story of the Sycamores, a large and
extended family of charming eccentrics. Alice is one of the daughters in the family, who loves her family
very much but is embarrassed by their idiosyncrasies. When she and her boss Tony, a young business
man, fall in love she fears that their two families –so unlike each other-- will never come together. When
the families meet, fireworks and comedy explodes!
This year’s show is unique in that it will be presented as a Staged Radio production, which means the
performers will be reading from scripts, but will also be in costume and be making entrances and exits as
they would in a non-radio version of the show.
You Can’t Take It With You” is being directed by Annette Weirick, assisted by Kara Jorgensen. Juanita
Edington is the producer. Jim Steffl, and Blaine Landowski will be providing technical support.
